Description
Inventory #48E0924. The Cold Harbor Battles of the Civil War raged for days - even weeks - over a very large area of Virginia farmland north and east of Richmond. The name Cold Harbor comes from an old English term meaning a place for travelers that serves only cold food. Battlefields are awesome places. They have great beauty and many of them are so still and silent one can hear the grass grow. The canons and embankments remain reminding us all of the horror that once filled these beautiful places.
